What is Decentralization?

Decentralization refers to the distribution of control, power, and decision-making of a centralized entity. It can offer some advantages like

Reducing points of weaknesses: there is no single point of failure that could lead to critical errors.

Trustless environment: Every network member owns a copy of the distributed ledger. If one member attempts to tamper with the ledger, most members will quickly refuse it.

Censorship resistant: No individual, organization, or government can take power to meddle with the parameters of the network.
