Sending your NFTs to the target chain
As a first step make sure your MetaMask is connected. Click on the “NFT Bridge” drop-down and go to “Transfer''. Select the NFT you want to bridge and click on ‘Go to transfer’.
In case the NFT is not visible on the Transfer page, you have to enter the contract address of the NFT manually. Go to the Blockchain Explorer of the network your tokens have been transferred to. Enter your wallet address and select the ERC-721 Token Transaction menu. After that you will be able to find and select the transaction of your NFT. Click on the Token information to select the correct token address and paste it to the AllianceBlock Bridge transfer page.
Additionally, you can enter the specific token ID if you want to bridge a specific NFT from the collection.
Once the token is selected, click to transfer it and pick the ‘Target Network’ and the ‘Recipient wallet address’.
You will also see information about the Bridge fees and estimated transaction fees.
Note that the transaction fees change every 30 seconds and will be shown in your MetaMask wallet when proceeding to confirm the transaction. You can bridge a maximum of 20 NFTs of the same collection at the same time.
When you are bridging the NFT collection for the first time, you will first have to approve the token contract. After that you have to click on the ‘Transfer’ button.
A pop-up window will appear. You will be asked to confirm that you are aware of the fact that the NFT might not have a use case on the target chain yet and that you have to claim the tokens on the target chain. After setting a check mark you click on ‘Transfer’ again and the tokens will be bridged to the target chain.
Claiming your NFTs on the target chain
To claim the NFTs, you have to click on the Bridge drop-down, go to ‘Claim’ page and switch your wallet to the target chain. In this example the Ethereum network.
Keep in mind that it might take several minutes before the bridged tokens appear on the ‘Claim’ page.
Click on the Claim button and confirm the transaction. You will see a message that your NFT’s have been claimed successfully.
